Husband wants me to ASK him when I want him to hold our son
Am I just being to emotional about this?
So for some context I am 10 months postpartum and this is our first child.
This morning we were all sitting on the couch and I was getting overwhelmed from the baby so I said “do you want dada to hold you for a couple of minutes” while trying to pass our son to him and he completely ignored me, then when he eventually did take our son I was already getting emotional cause like I said I was overwhelmed and I told him that I’m not sure if he had heard me but I had asked him to hold him for a couple minutes and he snapped at me and said no you didn’t and then repeated what I said earlier so I was like so you HAD heard me and was ignoring me and he was like well you didn’t ASK me if I could hold him and idk I just feel like it was pretty clear that I had wanted him to hold him and I don’t think I should have to ask him to hold his own son.
This isn’t the first time he’s done this 🤦♀️ it’s an ongoing thing. I just want to know how to better handle this I guess
