How long did it take?!

Hello! 
This is the first month my husband and I are ttc! 
I just stopped taking birth control last month, so this is my first month without birth control. 
For those of you that have been pregnant before after being on birth control…How long did it take for you get pregnant? How long do you think it took your cycle to return to “normal” and actual start ovulating??

I was on birth control pills for 12 years. The year we started TTC I went off the pill in March and got pregnant in May.

I have been on BC since I was 15, I’m 30 now… I stopped my BC in September 2020 and got pregnant the first time in December 2020. That pregnancy ended with a MMC in February 2021. I got pregnant again in September 2021 and unfortunately that pregnancy ended in October 2021 due to a blighted ovum… Now I am pregnant again, found out in February 2022. I don’t think it takes very long for your body to return to normal, but everyone is different! I know it can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive! Good luck!!

Both pregnancies took between 6-8 months to conceive.

I was on contraception for 15 years in total. The pill, depo and then iud. Had my iud taken out in June. I purposely wanted to have at least one cycle before we started trying which I did (worst period of my life) in July. Then got pregnant in August. I had used opks for a few months to see what my body was doing.

With my first I was on BC for about 8 or so years. My cycles were very irregular coming off of BC and it took a year and a half to conceive. With my second I was off BC for about 6 months before we started trying, very regular cycles, ovulating each month and when we were ready to try we conceived after first try.

I was on BC for two years. I waited one cycle for tracking purposes and fell pregnant on our first try the next cycle

Took half a year with my first. My cycle felt pretty regular. Stopped birth control and then instantly ttc.
The second one I was off birth control for 8 months before starting ttc. Took four months. My cycles was a mess actually in length as it varied. Used ovulation tests.
