I went yesterday to get my Iud removed. When the doctor went to remove it the string broke so she had to use different tools and try again. When she tried again she said it is stuck and is sending me for an ultrasound. The soonest appointment I could get is for April 8th.

I've only had it in for 3 years. She said this is only the 2nd time she's ever had one stuck.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? How did it go for you? Any advice?

I'm so scared to have to go through the procedure to have it removed.
