Encouragement

Brandy

Mommas, tell me how you get through the hard days. Lately it seems like we have more difficult days than anything. My son is 10 weeks and for a week or so he was happy all day, then out of nowhere he’s been cranky. I’m doing my best but I’m exhausted. Everything is a mess, I have little help, and I’m pretty sure I’m getting a cold. I really just need some encouraging words 😩

Rough days are rough, but there’s always going to be great days, too! Babies don’t understand how to communicate with us yet, I always try to remind myself that they are so new and trying to learn and understand the world and what’s going on. It has to be so overwhelming for them, just think of how hard it is on us! Those days with little babies go by so fast, but I know it’s easy to dwell on the hard days. But take it hour by hour, take breaks when you need them, and try to remind yourself that they’re new and learning and to be as patient as you can! That’s what I do, I hope it can help you too!

Blink and you’ll miss it ❤️These days are SO hard… while you’re going through it, it feels like it’ll never end. Then all of the sudden, it’s 6 months later and everything is different again!Everything feels both so long ago and just like yesterday.

Just survive those hard days one hour at a time! They feel never ending, but I swear they end and become a distant memory. Just keep yourself as comfortable as you can and offer yourself lots of grace. ❤️

Hi! You’re doing great. Being a parent is really fucking hard. There’s no real guidance on what we’re supposed to be doing other than “here’s your baby, good luck”. You’ve kept him/her alive for 10 weeks and that’s amazing! I promise you it will get better, and you’ll forget all about the miserable nights (and long for them when your toddler is opinionated and demanding to do things on their own). You’re doing an amazing job.
