Okay so I’m twenty and a freshman in college, but I am very mature. I asked a friend the other day if she was driving a standard. That’s a car with a clutch that you have to manually shift the gears in case you didn’t know. She was like “yeah I am”. But the way she said it made me ask her again. This time I specifically said do you have a clutch. She was like no, but I have the “shift thingy between my seats”. 🤦🏼‍♀️. That’s not a standard honey. 😂 I feel so old. Idk maybe other people refer to a standard as something else now but I grew up being told it was called a standard. I remember stuff, like the awesome McDonald’s kids chairs, that had the French fries and the burgers and the purple man, (I never knew their name I just remember them) and none of my friends do. Idk it’s kinda weird 😂. There has been all kinds of things that I knew or remembered and everyone around me was like “what are you talking about?” I guess I’m old lol. Anyone else feel like this?
