Heart defect
So I have DiGeorge syndrome and just found out doing blood work — they say with me being positive, the baby is positive. Well now, they’re saying he has a heart defect which is called tetralogy. Where the baby hasn’t fully developed or is missing the pulmonary valve. Has anyone else been through this? They say everything else looks good, but he’ll have to have surgery when he’s born. I’m trying to stay strong and sane, but I’m freaked out and worried. This is our first child and everyone is super excited for us and ready to see little man. I’m just venting because I’m freaked. 🥺😢
