Husband mad I threw my tampon in the garbage

Sorry this is tmi and kind of gross

So I threw out my tampon in the bathroom garbage can. I wrapped it up in a bunch of toilet paper, but I guess the blood leaked thru it and my husband saw it. He doesn’t like when I throw it in the bathroom garbage can, he wants me to put it in the kitchen garbage. I always do but the thing was, I was about to get in the shower, and I was already naked and about it get in so I figured I’ll leave it in the bathroom for now then throw it in the kitchen trash after the shower, but I forgot. So my husband saw it, and he showed it to me, told me I was disgusting and he went to bed without saying goodnight.

Like ok I understand I fucked up but like isn’t his reaction kind of dramatic? Like it’s a tampon get over it 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Where do you guys throw out your tampons? I grew up throwing them out in the bathroom garbage like walking around the house with it seems worse so idk what’s normal
