Because my body is designed for vaginal delivery and the other thing is major abdominal surgery. I have mad respect for c section moms, because my God I hope I never have to experience that 😳

Because csection is a major surgery and comes with so many risks. It’s a great option in a true emergency and I’m glad it exists, but vaginal birth should be the primary delivery method for sure. I had a csection with my first and a vaginal with my 2nd. Planning another vaginal in a few weeks. So much safer, recovery so much easier. I can’t imagine choosing a csection unless I had to

Csections are major surgery. Your body is made for vaginal deliveries. Unless you need one don’t get one. Why would you want to? I got up right away with both vaginal deliveries.

Women are three times more likely to die during a cesarean delivery than during a vaginal birth. The risks with a c section are much hugher.

Had an emergency c-section with my first. And a planned one for the second as well to avoid the same complications and trauma like I did with my first.

Ive had both (though c sections were necessary) I would NEVER opt for a c section, the recovery was a monster compared to my vaginal births

I have so much respect for woman who have c sections and hope I never experience that. My last 2 vaginal deliveries were a breeze. Of course it hurts but the second baby is out the pain was done and I was up and walking. I barely even felt like I had a baby! A couple stitches which healed fast and I felt normal.

I had terrible tearing with my first and I'd still choose it over major surgery any day.

I chose. A repeat csection because my hospital doesn't provide vbacs and I LOVE my dr. Hes seriously great. I booked into the hospital 1 hr away and decided they didn't fit my needs. Healing time for me is never more than 2 to 3 weeks. They are relatively painless for me. I also get my milk in almost immediately. If you want a vbac, go for it. Especially if you'll regret never having a vaginal birth. One reason why I chose a repeat was because I had severe depression issues after my first failed. I didnt want to do that again. Also, im allowed 6 csections.
