Ultrasound Viability Scan

I had my ultrasound yesterday at 7 weeks 6 days. I measured 7 weeks 5 days and with a heartbeat of 165! And due date of November 19th! Right now I’m still surprised because I have the sub chorionic hemorrhage (which I’ve had every one of my three pregnancies where I had my kids) but I’ve been spotting off and on since I found out I was pregnant. I’m also A-, so I had to get the rhogam shot. And the reason for the scan is that when my HCG was over 3,000, it didn’t quite double every two days, but close. I know it can be 72 hours…but in previous miscarriages it was not a good sign.

I was expecting the worst after three miscarriages since 2020. I was very nervous in the waiting room and didn’t even want to go in. I’m still worried because I did see the heartbeat at 7 weeks 2 days of my last pregnancy and it stopped that day. I was measuring a week behind though. Right now I’m hoping for the best but it’s hard to be excited. My symptoms are being extremely tired, some headaches, being hungry, and a little breast tenderness. So nothing major. And I’ll be 40 in September so I’m high risk. And I’m on 200mg progesterone. I think that covers everything 😁

It’s pretty difficult after the losses to be optimistic, but I feel like so far this is a good sign. ❤️ I hope this info helps if anyone else is going through something similar. Good luck to you all! ☺️
