How did you find/get your job?

I really struggling to find work so curious.

When I was 18 and just graduated high school, I walked down a shopping strip and went into every single store to ask if they were hiring. Filled out paper applications and went online to apply if they didn’t have a paper one. Got a job the next day at the Subway sandwich shop. Worked there for about 10 months, then started applying at banks because I was over working in fast food. Had two interviews and got hired at one of them, and stayed there for 4 years before I moved out of state. Now I work for a college.

My first job was through a contracting company. I worked my ass off and while most of my subsequent jobs have been with someone I knew from a previous position, I only have gotten them from working my ass off and proving my professionalism and technical capabilities. Most recent job is one a did as a support position for most of 2020. I loved the area and kept my eye open for open positions and let the site director know I was interested. Got transferred out here 3 month later.
