Is it true you can get really weird dreams when pregnant ?

I've heard you can have really vivid, bizarre, non sensical kind of dreams while you are pregnant. I think Ive even heard the dreams can be kinda gruesome or scary ? Is that true ? Have any of you ladies experienced different dreams than usual when pregnant ?

yes! i will always remember the crazy ass dream i had when i was pregnant with my son, 5 years ago. a gorilla in an apron was making me cinnamon rolls 😂😭

It was true for me. I don’t often remember my dreams but with both my pregnancies I had weird dreams all the time that were super vivid. Anywhere from my fiancé cheating on me to our house flooding to getting kidnapped lol they weren’t all bad though I guess but I definitely dreamt more frequently and actually remembered them when I woke up

Mine were just super vivid with both pregnancies. & they started almost the instant I became pregnant. I’ve had a few nightmares, but they are mostly just really weird & make absolutely no sense. I’ll also have dreams about the babies a lot, mostly giving birth unexpectedly.

I have . Not recently but a few times between 9 - 10 weeks . Even if the dreams aren't scary/gruesome , I find myself having a way better recall & being able to remember what I dreamed about during the night

Very true & I always remember them because I’d wake up screaming or boohoo crying. They are so vivid & feel so real & most of the time, or half the time are very sad or scary

Yes, I legit had to stop watching the ID channel because of this. I would be watching this channel mid day take a nap and have the worst nightmare. I hated my vivid dreams they were too much.

I had extremely vivid dreams (mostly nightmares) during my first pregnancy, almost every time I slept! My second pregnancy, not so much. I had very vivid dreams only a handful of times but they weren’t ever nightmares the second time around.

Absolutely! I had a bunch of weird dreams, and definitely had some scary and gruesome ones. One night I woke up screaming and scared the crap out of my boyfriend 😂 it wasn’t my whole pregnancy that I had weird dreams, but during the first trimester and then again nearing the end of my third I definitely did. The first weird dream I had before I even knew I was pregnant was sexual and it was incredibly weird 😂

Yes! I have multiple, really crazy dreams every  night since being pregnant.  The most crazy are the ones where I’m being murdered, like super vivid and detailed. And some I’m laughing/smiling when it happens. It is SO bizarre.
