Is there a way to get a name off a football shirt ?

This was suppose to be yanmaz. The shop did it wrong. I've got a refund but I want to do something to this shirt... is there a way to get the letters off ??

Yes and no, I once bought a personalised football shirt. Tried EVERYTHING to get the writing off, eventually I just sat and picked at it for hours! The writing came off BUT the outline of the writing, like the imprint where the writing was stayed, so it still went in the bin. £75 down the drain!

I do not know if this will work but I have a cricut machine (if you don't know it just helps make crafts). I saw a video where a woman was doing an iron on and she messed it up. She put a small towel over the letter and then applied heat. She had the little heat machine made for doing iron on (which I don't have and have never used but a regular iron would work I assume). And I believe you can buy iron on letters at Walmart or Joanne Fabrics to add the missing letter. Again I have not done iron on myself but I thought maybe this could at least give you an idea.
