Diapers!

When did you buy diapers? I’ve received some diapers from my baby shower (not much) but they seem small and it then crossed my mind on how pointless it is to buy diapers right now when I don’t even know if they’ll fit my baby. It seems smarter to me to just wait to buy diapers than to stock up before she gets here. Any thoughts?

Edit: thank you for the feedback! From my understanding, the hospital gives you diapers too? I’m not sure if it’s a lot. (Ftm and not sure what to expect) But worse case scenario, we live walking distance from Walmart, and the hospital is a 5 min drive from Walmart and our apartment, so I’ll probably just have my husband go buy some 😅

On the topic of diapers, I’m also curious what brand is best to use? There are so many to choose from. I’ve read that I should stay away from Hello Bello products and I’m still not completely sure why I’m supposed to, and if that has any truth to it, does it apply to diapers? Or just their soaps, etc?
