Rising systolic BP! Issue or no?

Dar

Hey guys :) so we won’t be having baby girl at 36 weeks now which I am unbelievably happy about, but I noticed something weird with my BP at my appointment that I’ve never had happen.

My BP typically runs about 90-100/60. I’ve never really had it get higher than that.

Appointment two weeks ago was 120/60 something. Wasn’t worried. This time (Yesterday) was 130/68. I didn’t think anything of it at the time, Dr didn’t say anything but it is strange, considering I’ve NEVER had it run higher than my normal. Even during pregnancy.

Could this be something we need to keep an eye on? We are delivering in 3 ish weeks once I hit 39 weeks, I just know from working healthcare that a systolic at 130 is “pre hypertension”.

I wondered if maybe it was just because of my nerves but since it’s been steadily rising since before the mass amount of worry and stress hit after our appointment on the 7th, I don’t really know.

My sister just delivered a baby a week and 3 days ago at 36+3 due to extremely high BP and I’m like nope we don’t need a round two of this. 😅

Anyways. Just curious on if this is still considered okay or if I should maybe be checking my BP at home as well/bring it up on Thursday when we go for our next doppler tests and NST. :)
