He doesn’t like “bigger girls.”

I was talking to an old friend today. We used to have feelings for each other, strong ones. But things just didn’t work out. Today I talked to him briefly responding through a Snapchat story. We were talking about a date he went on with a girl but he stopped talking to her. He said she was “nice, but was bigger than I thought she was.” Now, I am not the skinniest girl.. and I replied with “I don’t know what to say because I’m the same.” He opened it and didn’t reply, and I don’t know why I care so much, but he clearly thinks about me as a bigger girl and maybe that’s why we lost touch.. I don’t know. There isn’t anything wrong with bigger people, as I said, I am too! I just can’t understand why I care so much about his opinion. I’m upset with myself for even thinking this way and being upset or sad.
