Guy friends

I’m dealing with a guy and he says he don’t wanna be with me because I have guy friends I’m Okaay with him not being with me but the reasoning is so stupid I feel like if you have females as your friends why can’t I have guys as my friends ? Does anybody feel the same? What’s wrong with having guy friends? Me and this friend have never seen each other like that we just talk otp or find time to have drinks but we don’t talk everyday just once a week maybe (got like that after his granddad passed I been allowing him to just text me when he feel he ready to talk) but me and this person has been arguing about my guy friend for like 5 days I’m so confused about this whole thing tell me what y’all think
