Weightloss confusion
I started my weightloss journey in February at 204lbs, 2 months later I'm 198lbs (loss of 6lbs), the confusion is that it would have been more if I didnt put on another 2lbs in a week last week, I use a fitbit and do challenges with others, competitions and games, the week I walked almost 80K steps in 5 days and was always in a calorie deficit with healthy food I put on the most weight through this whole journey, the passed week I've done nothing, been home whole week, some walks here and there but ate alot of takeaway, sweets, snacks, no workouts, and I've lost a lb this week.
I'm measuring too, the week I put on the 2lbs even working out and healthy eating, I measured smaller in my legs and arms, my tummy got bigger though which showed when I couldn't even button down the brand new shirt I had bought in my new size.
I'm just very confused, I weigh myself once a week, same day and first thing in the morning before eating and drinking, so seems like the more I do, the less likely it is I loose, the less I do, I loose? I was thinking its probably just a one off but its been 8 weeks and its becoming a pattern I'm finding, so do I carry on working hard one week and have a break, do nothing the next? Seems to be working 🤷🏼♀️
