Good letter to evict landlord?

So a while ago I posted about how we invited a family member, who happened to be our landlord, to stay for a brief period. I wrote about how the landlord started acting like it was their home and how they were being rude and unfair about us "not caring about the place" (big talk from someone who has spent a fraction on maintenance and instead has left it all to us).

We are actively looking for a new place but honestly it's not going great. We're struggling to find a place close to work within out budget so it's likely not going to happen in the next month or so.

Our family member / landlord STILL HASN'T LEFT!!! At this stage they are squatting. They've been here for two months. They're not even talking to us anymore, everyone is just avoiding everyone else and it's uncomfortable and anxiety inducing.

We have sought (free) legal advice and they've advised we need to give our family member /landlord formal notice to leave, if they don't we need to evict. Seeing as they're not talking to us, we will be doing it in writing.

So we've drafted the following letter:

Attention Family Member,

Please find below formal notice to please vacate the property (address) by no later than 30 April 2022. As we are the legal tenants per (the relevant law), we are granted exclusive use of the property.

Please also note that we will also be vacating before the end of 2022, please note until then rent will be paid as normal and the tenant - obligated maintenance will be actioned.

Thank you.

Please be kind, writing is not my strong suite.

@Ashley it's legal here because we are the tenants and thus are paying for exclusive use. Landlords aren't allowed to just move into their houses when occupied by tenants. By law.

@Crista the landlord needs to provide us with a calendars month notice and hopefully by then we'll have found a place. We understand this risk.
