Is this a lip tie?

He has so many signs that he has a lip tie, especially the lip blisters, gerd and my nipple soreness. He’s over a month old and we’re still struggling. But a doctor told us this isn’t a tie. What do you think?

Is the dr an ent or pediatric dentist that specializes in oral ties? If not, you should go to one of those to be evaluated for ties. Pediatricians are not trained in ties

I would believe your doctor. Every one has that, a lip tie is when there is to much attached from lips to gums.

If it is, it’s mild. It doesn’t look like a tie to me. I’ve had two with lip ties and one with tongue tie.
