🌸For those ladies that have/had the IUD!!!!! Do/Did you regret getting it?🌸

Just curious. Whether or was the Paraguard, the Mirena, Kyleena, Skyla.....
I just wanna get an idea of how many women were happy with it.
Feel free to drop a comment about how long you had it, and your pros and cons.
I have had the Kyleena in for about 4 months now and I still get painful cramps sometimes.

I had the Paraguard. It caused me a lot of pain and VERY heavy bleeding that became worse over time and did not let up. My body could not handle it and seemed to have been rejecting it. I had to have it removed within two months.

I had the Mirena and I bled for about 9 months straight. I had a lapse in my insurance so it stayed in longer than it should have. Turned out that it poked through the skin at the top so it was twisted sideways AND my body started to absorb part of it so it was surgically removed with scar tissue. BUT I will say, we found out that my pelvis is tilted so it's not ideal for my body to have a rigid object shoved in there. Basically, it's not super common and my case was a bit different than what's typical, even for bad reactions/outcomes 😅

I had the Mirena and it ended up traveling into my endometrial canal. I had massive random pains and random spotting, and it caused me TONS of anxiety and stress and pain. I’m never getting one again because of the pain of insertion, though it was nice to have as birth control because it’s so effective. That was the only upside because it caused me sooo many problems.

I had the Paragard twice for a combined 4 years. I loved it, gave me absolutely no issues. My periods were normal & not painful. Forgot I even had an iud. Lol
