Has anyone gone into spontaneous labor at 36/37 weeks?

With no medical problems like preeclampsia/GD or anything wrong? Just naturally went into labor early? Only asking cause I’m 36 weeks 5 days and hurting pretty bad. Like feeling the tightening and stuff which could just be BH contractions but now I’m having horrible period like cramps/pain in lower stomach and back

I’ve felt this off and on for a week at 36 weeks, had two full term babies before this, and my midwife just told me I’m in prodromal labor so the contractions aren’t actually doing anything. Just making me uncomfortable.

My water broke at 37 weeks and I had her 12 hours labor.
