School w/ newborn ?

Question

Any other mommas in college or going to be taking classes while having their newborn? 
I decided to take three classes for summer term rather than sit around with nothing to do. I really didn’t wanna skip summer. Since they’re all online and six weeks I’ll be done with classes before my six weeks is even up.

I'm currently wrapping up my second year of law school and currently have a 2 1/2 year old. Baby #2 will be here any day, and I'm planning on taking a class this summer before my third year. I'm a full-time student

I completed my Master's degree while pregnant, then on maternity leave. Defended my thesis pregnant with number two and working full-time
It was an extra challenge for sure, difficult, but not impossible. You'll need support with domestic responsibilities and child care. I found I had to become a master of organization and multi-tasking, and procrastination (my biggest vice) was impossible, always be ahead.

i’m currently in school now but i most likely will not have my daughter before the semester ends. i start back in the fall, it will be my last semester 🥳
when i had my first daughter, she was born a week after my semester started. she was my first born and it was really difficult for me to transition. i dropped two classes, and i really underestimated how difficult it would be to balance a newborn, school, and all my other obligations. 
this was my experience. i recommend not taking on too many courses at once. once i got the hang of things, it was manageable.

I’ll be starting back in the fall (my son will be around 3 months then) and I’m so nervous about it. I’m doing online classes too and I feel like they’re always way more work than in person.

I did my masters degree online with my other son and now with this one I start in August so my son will be about 3 months. Taking online courses is tough but its better for when you’re at home with a baby. My personal opinion. But you got thiS mama

Spring 2018 I started grad school full time. Was also working full time (50+ hours a week). June 2018 found out I was pregnant. Continued work and school. March 2019 had baby via csection. Took 8 weeks off of work and school but then started both again. November 2019, got pregnant again. May 2020 graduated with a dual masters degree (and a 4.0). July 2020 had baby #2.
It’s definitely doable to do school and have kids.
