Venting about labor and delivery

I always wonder what position my baby is in. I wonder if he has turned yet. I always see him and feel him moving on the right side of my belly, and like the side of my right side almost near my ribs. I’m 31 weeks so I know he has plenty of time to turn head down. Just makes me nervous because there are babies who are born early and I really hope he turns head down. This is my first pregnancy and I haven’t even figured out what he’s doing in there besides well moving lol. I hope he’s in there flipping around and doing somersaults and stuff. Every ultrasound I been too to date he has been breeched. Im just really hoping he turns. At 29 weeks he weighed 3 lbs. Next ultrasound I have on may 2 I really hope to hear he turns because that’s my growth scan and really after that I’ll have one more ultrasound in office at like 36 weeks or so to see if he’s head down. I know it sounds like I’m worried and I kinda am, I’m not trying to go for a c section but I am mentally prepared for both either way. I’m going to continue talking to him and paying music down low so I can encourage him to turn. Also some exercises and positions to be in that will help him. I’m terrified of a c section well more or less the healing process. Either way when the time comes I know I will want him out asap! I’ve heard other women say that you can feel once the baby turns but I’m not quite sure I’ve experienced that.

My first was breech and never head down, so he was a scheduled C-section. The surgery went great and I actually recovered really well. My second was transverse nearly the whole pregnancy and flipped sometime between 37 and 38 weeks. I had no idea that he flipped until my doctor did an ultrasound. I even told the nurse that I was certain he was in the same position when I walked in for the appointment! 😂

I've had 2 breech babies and 1 head down baby. The only difference that I felt was the amount of pressure in my vagina. When my 2nd baby went head down I literally said to my husband that I felt like he was about to fall out.

I’m 37 weeks tomorrow and my midwife checks to see if he is head down, the further along you get they can tell if baby is head down
