Domestic abuse/Huge fight in the morning

Woke up this morning to my partner spanking our 1 year old because he wasn’t keeping still & kept crying during diaper change. I shouted at my partner to stop spanking him it’s not right & he gets aggravated and does it extra hard & repeatedly so i jumped in and took our son away from him. I started hitting on my partner because I’m furious of the way he’s abusing our 1 year old. Then he puts his fists up to me and starts punching me & I’m slapping him back ..I’m shouting leave, get the fuck out and then he’s spitefully trying to punch our 1 year old in the face shouting at our baby saying he started this bullshit..i run to get a chair and throw it at him to protect me and our baby..then he grabs the chair and hits me with it repeatedly while I’m holding our 1 year old trying to run away from him..I have a lump on my arm..no where to go, my family live overseas..i called the police am waiting it’s been 30mins I’m so upset & this is the first time he’s been physically abusive. Im leaving his ass.
