Can you share back labor experiences?

I am wondering how those who has back labor felt in the beginning of labor. Was it  more like a backache or hip pain?

At the start it just hurt. Don't really know how to put it into words. At the peak it felt like as if someone was stabbing me all up and down my spine at once and then twisting the knife. Literally the worst pain I've ever felt and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

My early labor started as contractions in my lower back and later my hips. They got more severe over a few days until the pain was so unbearable (particular in the sides of my hips) that I had to go in asking for an epidural. Thankfully I was finally progressing (I had prolonged early labor) so they admitted me. When the epidural was fading during labor, the hip pain would come back and was interfering with my ability to push so I had to keep pushing the button for more medicine. I felt essentially nothing in the front of my belly through the whole process, only in my back and hips.

Like a constant sharp backache. Then at its peak it felt like someone was ripping my spine in half from the inside, worst pain imaginable. It was constant too so it didn't even come and go with contractions for me.

I had back labour with my first and her birth was my easiest! X it felt like really really intense backache but I actually found her birth easier than my second, however that could have been for other reasons that I won't go in to x

It all happened to quick.. I didn't even know I was going into the labor because right before my working broke of me pushing... I thought my ass needed to take a shit! 😭😭🤣
