Spotting? 10 weeks pregnant

Question

I'm about 10 weeks pregnant and experienced this yesterday. Freaked me out. Called on call  doctor who informed me to keep an eye as long as it's not bright red and a flow. This is my 2nd pregnancy and I didn't experience this before.
Anyone experience this?

I had this one day at 8 weeks with my first, heavier than this for weeks 7-13 with my second and even heavier with my third from weeks 8-10. I was terrified! (It looked like a period but this dark with babies 2&3) All was fine though. Three full term babies 😊  
Take it as a sign to take it easy (but not completely still, full bedrest isn't ideal for either of you!), but I just mean if you don't have to lift that, then don't. Good precautions. I had toddlers (the older siblings, there's 15 months between each babies) so I attributed the heavier bleeds to asking too much of myself. Idk though, it does just happen, but I worried I maybe made it worst.

Update, it was deemed a  blighted ovum. I'll be having a dnc next week💔
