Pill switch, period stopped?

So I have been on birth control for a few years (4 now) to control the flow, as my natural flow is absolutely f***ed (heavy, lasts weeeeeeks on end). My original prescription was Norgestimate/Ethinyl Estradiol (tablet form, 28 days, 0.18mg/0.035mg, 0.215mg/0.035mg, and 0.25mg/0.035mg). They told me this was an estrogen-based birth control.

They switched me at the beginning of March to Norethindrone 0.35mg tablets, 28 day supply, which is non-estrogen. I was switched because they said I can't be on an estrogen-based birth control with severe migraines with aura, which I have developed recently.

Aaaaanyway, my real question: Has anyone else ever been switched from one birth control to another (or even particularly these two) and their bleeding just STOPPED? I haven't had ANY bleeding, spotting, cramping.... no period symptoms whatsoever. My obgyn said that my period could eventually taper off, but has anyone had it just immediately stop? Just disappear? Right now I think I'm... 22(?) days late. She told me not to worry if I bled randomly throughtout the first couple months but idk if I should be concerned about *not* bleeding at all 😅

(Believe me, it's been an absolute BLESSING, but the last time I stopped bleeding for a while it came back and it was *actually* Satan's waterfall, like FILLED MY SHOES, so I just want to know if I should expect it to come back soon or not)
