Positive PT(blood)

Last night I went to the hospital for chest pains and back pains. They did blood work and the Dr came in and told my husband and I that my pt came back positive. They took me to ultrasound but wasn't able to see anything because he said It might be too soon.. Took another blood test and pt came back positive again. He said HCG was detected and low and come back to the hospital Monday to see if my levels goes up.. we are excited indeed but I wake up and my period is on.. now I'm worried.. and scared at the same time.. anybody else still had a cycle and was pregnant? My husband cried tears of joy and I hate for him to be disappointed.
