First time brazilian waxing- when to do it?

Brazilian and normal waxing of the whole body, never done it.
I fly to california on May22 and the day before is the only time I can do it :(…. Is this ok for brazilian and waxing in general? It will be my first time, so kinda just worried about reactions/redness and stufff

I wouldn’t do it personally. I have multiple friends who waited for their first wax until right before a vacation and their skin was like peeling off the whole time. It wasn’t a bad wax job, they were just sensitive to it and didn’t know it. 
If it were me I would skip waxing this time and try it out when you don’t have a swimsuit vacation right around the corner.

I have done it the day before for many trips/events. But that’s because I know how my skin reacts and etc (for me it’s never a problem). 
If it’s your first time, just know you’re taking a gamble.

Or just stick to shaving or whatever you are doing right now
