Curb walking!

Cece • Cecelia wyatte

Hello ladies, today I'm 38 weeks pregnant.

I go to the Drs tomorrow and if my bp is high I will be induced but if not I will continue to carry, I have a nst on Wednesday and a fetal growth scan to check on baby.

I have been curb walking for 15 minutes now and I'm slightly feeling crampy in my lower abdomen....does it mean this is working???

Update: I went to my Drs yesterday and they feel baby's head, and I'm almost 2cm dilated continuing the walking I'm feeling a good amount of pressure in my pelvis let's hope baby comes sooner then later!!

Unfortunately my son came at 40 weeks and 2 days but I definitely will suggest curb walk as much as your body will allow you with staying hydrated and take a good amount of breaks in between as if you were working out and doing reps. I feel like it helped strengthen my pelvic floor a ton and like it made Braxton hicks come on stronger like it was really getting my body ready for birth, I will for sure be doing a ton of curb walking as I get closer to giving birth to my second son in late July. Another thing that helped was squats and getting my membranes swept at 37 weeks and kegels frequently
