It was my nephews 12th birthday this weekend. I gave him a card with $50 in it. He opened the card looked at the money, and said “$50? That’s it?” I was kind of like wtf, like I know jts not a lot but still like wtf. I was expecting a thank you lol. My SIL laughed and was like oh this is how kids are these days, wait until yours are older. My kids are little, but I would be really mad if they said that over a gift.

I am over it for the most part, but I still think it’s kind of rude.
