At what point should baby shift to bottom?

At my 22 week appointment, the ultrasound tech labeled my baby as “breeched.” Is this normal? I thought baby wasn’t supposed to be turned at this point.

By about 30 weeks is when baby's start to turn down, no need to worry until week 36 since after that baby is so much bigger and less room to turn.

I  was never told with my daughter that she was breezy. But now with my second, at 16 weeks I was told he is breech. I’m 19 weeks now and He flips so often. Just a little bit ago his kicks were by my belly button and now they are on my crotch lol I’ll worry later on in my pregnancy.

Its definitely normal and isnt cause for any concern right now. At 20 weeks they still chance position quite frequently and will continue to do so. Like another commenter said, its not really an issue until 36ish weeks. By then they can attempt a manual flip or there are things you can do at home to try to encourage baby to go head down.

My son was breech until 35 weeks, this time baby was sideways until 36 weeks. You still have plenty of time & baby has plenty of room to turn!

Not entirely sure, but it's very normal at this point. At 26 weeks my second was also butt down. We'll see again by the end of May here, if she has turned.

Most babies are already head down but the 20th week. It's still normal for them not to be, but it is something they would want to keep an eye on just in case baby doesn't turn.

Yes it’s not normal & some babies stay that way until delivery and some are stubborn to get into position when it’s time to deliver and some don’t flip at all .
