I know sometimes I really hate to listen to those videos on TikTok about a woman who says if a man really want to talk to you then he would or if he’s really busy because he has a job then he should know how to make time for you but those kind of videos lowkey just really annoy me because like what if a man is really busy with his work and I’m sitting here just listening to those videos like gosh that could be so true he could be lying or telling me the truth what do you think￼ ?

I mean if he goes like 8 hours without talking to you while he’s at work then there is nothing wrong with that, however if he goes 24 hours without talking to you then I would say he isn’t putting in any effort or he is just trying to keep you on the back burner for when he wants something. My husband works 10+ hour shifts sometimes 6 days a week as a welder & still finds time to send an occasional text to check on me throughout the day, some jobs have a no phone policy though so you can’t just expect that but you should definitely hear from him sometime whether before or after work

Need more context. How often do you two talk/hangout?? Also not you trying to make excuses for him 🥱 people prioritize and make time for people they want to be with .

I actually think the sentiment is ableist to some degree- because yeah some people can work all day and do everything else and actually maintain relationships- some of us aren't as good at that!!! And it's because if the way someone's brain works. 
Maybe a 8 hour work day feels like a 12 or 16 hour day for some people who have mental or physical disabilities or just differences. 
Some people also are very obsessive, and they can't help needing to be productive to a perhaps pathological degree- so it's harder to prioritize "fun" things like seeing your partner. 
It's okay to have relationships that don't fit the expected mold. It's okay not to be attached at the hip at all times. Some of us don't want that or can't do it. 
Sometimes a person is just busy, and to stay well they can't push themselves too far. And if that doesn't meet your needs, it's okay to date someone else instead.
