Don't think I really *get* ovulation timing
So, right now I'm in a situation where I am testing negative on HCG tests but I have a few more days of potential for a positive. This was an accidentally on purpose situation and I realized that if I am not pregnant, then I will be disappointed.
With that being said, in that situation, we will actively start trying and I want to understand ovulation timing. I have a bbt thermometer and I know to take it first thing when I wake up, but what do the high vs. low temps mean? Should I start taking my temperature on the first day of my period (whenever that comes, currently waiting for it)? I also have ovulation strips. Are those better than bbt?
