How do you know if you have Braxton hicks?

I get these stomach pains but this is my first time being pregnant, so I can’t really identify what anything really is. I’m 25w 2d

My whole stomach tightens and it can be a little bit painful if I stand up fast during one.   But mostly it just feels uncomfortable.

I have those as well and thought they were Braxton Hicks for a bit, until I read BH aren’t painful.  For me, mine ended up being round ligament pain!

My stomach pains turned out to be indigestion with a bad acid reflux and tums fixed it. I thought BH too. I’m 25 weeks and it just started.

Stomach gets hard, and have to breath in and out. I've been getting them on and off. Mine started like Friday.

For me it feels like a belt squeezing around my stomach, but not painful.
