Being sick while pregnant

Hi mamas!

I’m currently experiencing probably the worst cold I’ve ever had. My head is pounding from the congestion I have a cough also from the congestion in my throat and my body aches. I went to the doctor yesterday and was told it’s not a sinus infection I didn’t test for covid because even if it is covid there’s no special medication you can take for it to go away. (Obviously taking precautions and staying home). The doctor said while pregnant you experience sickness at a much extreme rate and it lasts longer as well. Anyone else experienced this cold and what helped? I know all I can really take is Tylenol and Benadryl which seems to alleviate the pain for a couple hours but then it starts back up and each day it seems to be getting worse not better.
