Potty training 2.5 year old girl

Are any of your toddlers just not seem ready to potty train?

My daughter will only fight me every once in awhile to change her diaper but otherwise is fine. She doesn’t care how heavy her diaper is, or if I don’t change a poop diaper immediately. She has never tried to take her diaper off. And with her overnight diapers, they are normally super heavy the next morning even though we stop liquids like an hour before bed.

How do you know? Or when should I start?!

Her speech therapist says she doesn’t think she is ready because there is still a language barrier in order for her to tell me when she has to go.
