Toddler fractures

Well, the mini man injured himself during a tantrum and got a fracture on his tibia. (The shin bone, basically). Poor boy is in pain but apparently they are so common they actually call them toddler fractures.

He is in a boot vs a cast because his fibula is still intact and the bone didn't move.

Anyone else experience this? He seems relatively happy now, but I am wondering when the boot comes off (4 weeks) how I am going to keep him from running/jumping for 4 more weeks 😂
