IUD removal and got two periods in a month?

I got my IUD removed on May 5 because me and my husband are going to try for baby number two. I right away started my period after that I started checking my ovulation and then got my period again. I was bummed. I never ovulated. My doctor did mention that after getting my IUD removed I will quickly get pregnant which gave me high hopes.

I’m trying to understand maybe the first one wasn’t an actual period?? I had my IUD mirena for a year now after my first baby during postpartum.

Has anyone Have had like two periods after their IUD removal?
