Implantation or period

According to the app I am 5 days away from my period when I wiped there was brown discharge. This has never happened to me before my period and the only time I get any brown discharge is when I’m on the last 2 days of my period but even then it’s really light and not this much on the toilet paper. If anyone could give any advice it would be greatly appreciated
