What we’re you dilated at 36 weeks ?

I’m hoping to be atleast 1cm dilated maybe even 2 by my 36 week appointment which is next week.

I wasn't dilated at all until labor started.

Dilation means absolutely nothing. My sister in-law was 3 to 4 cm for weeks. My sister was 4cm for a week. I was 1 cm at 40 +2 and had my daughter the next afternoon. My labour's were faster than my sil and sister as well, even without prior dilation
