How much do you spend on diapers ?

it’s my first pregnancy, i’m definitely an over thinker and have been doing a whole bunch of research on different diaper brands and all that. i was also looking into cloth diapering and diaper services. i’m just curious what kind of diapers you use and about how much you spend on diapers each month ?

Husband Had a diaper party….baby is 7.5 months old and we’ve bought 1 pack of diapers (overnights) that’s it.

when i have to get diapers i also get wipes since im about to have another baby, i get the biggest box they have of the pampers sensitive wipes and the big box of the pampers swaddlers.. i spend $75 everytime for both. so that’s about $150 a month, i dont like to run out either..

It depends how much baby goes and whether they’re picky about being messy or not! Some babies don’t like being the slightest bit wet while others don’t mind having the worlds fullest diaper. So you can guess about 8-12 diapers a day for about a good two months or so. Then slowly that decreases. My 21 month old gets a diaper change 4-6 times a day, depending the day. So theoretically, you’ll need 1-2 big boxes of diapers a month (or 3 big boxes every 2 months is probably a better guesstimate). Which comes to about $50-$100 a month depending the month! We use Costco Kirkland brand and for 200 diapers, it’s $45 I think. So now each box lasts over a month.

I spent ~$40-$50 monthly with hello bello delivery diapers. My daughter eventually needed to use less diapers so I cancelled the delivery service when she was around 18m and spent about $30/mo on pull-ups!
