If integrated screening or NIPT test results always include gender reveal?

Hi just curious if  integrated screening or NIPT result always include a gender reveal?
I forgot to ask my provider and now I am curious 🙈

NIPT is a chromosomal genetics test . So yes , NIPT will always include if there are XX or XY chromosomes present .

No, depending on the service you use/where you live, the results you are given may not include the fetal sex.
I live in the Netherlands and the NIPT results only include information about chromosomal abnormalities, they do not include fetal sex.

When my Dr scheduled mine, he asked whether or not we wanted the sex to be included in the testing. We obviously said we did 😅

I actually have been working with these tests for those for years (in an OB office) and no matter what company we use it has always came back with a gender result. With that being said, some doctors refuse to give that result to the patients as they fear it’s wrong. But I’ve never seen any of the results come back without a gender result.
