Birth mark?

My baby has had this on her leg since birth. When she was born (via c-section), they told me it was a bruise from them trying to get her out.

But 4 months later, its still there. I mentioned it to my health visitor and they said it could be a birth mark. Has anyone elses baby got anything similar? Is it just a simple birth mark? Its worrying me a bit that its something worse.
