Husband lost his wedding ring
Okay, please tell me if I’m crazy or not
My husband lost his wedding band. We’ve been married 5 years. He told me about a week ago, and I was like oh that’s sad, but whatever. But now that I am thinking about it (bc I look for it everyday) it’s kind of bothering me that he doesn’t really care it’s gone.
The thing is- my husband is a VERY sentimental person. He has his childhood books in the basement- our kids are not allowed to touch them because they might ruin them.
He has saved every birthday/Christmas card from every family member he has ever gotten.
His mom gave him old dishes when he moved into his apartment, and he would never use them bc they were “too special”
He has some of the most random things saved, like he has a party favor from his cousins 6th birthday party.
But the thing that I guess is bothering me is that he really made no attempt to look for the ring. He does Brazilian jiu jitsu, so he takes his ring off when he goes. He told me it probably fell out of his gym bag. The only attempt he made to find it was he went to the gym, it wasn’t there, he said oh well, and that was it.
I am not upset he lost the ring. I am more upset about how he just doesn’t seem to care. Like his plates and his birthday cards are so important to him, but our wedding ring wasn’t?
Do I sound crazy?
