Iui after VR?

Hello! My husband had his VR Feb 2021 after 6 years of having the vasectomy. He does has some sperm. His first SA he had 8 mil, but a few weeks ago we rechecked it and it was 18 mil. We just had our first iui last week. My fertility doctor recommended that and said it was our best option. I have no fertility issues, I’ve been checked and done all the testing. So now we just wait! We can do 4 iui cycles but I really hope this first one does the trick! Anyone else do iui after VR?
