Is this weird?

I have at least $150 in quarters and coins i counted last night. I was going to go to one of those machines at Ralphs grocery store to convert it into cash. I just know i will be shy and embarrassed doing it. But ya, im using the money to pay for a gift to someone. Has anyone done this before? Ive just had this bin of coins for years and never do anything with it
