Do your kids have a trampoline?

Question

Debating buying my 6 year old a trampoline. Is it worth it? I would get one with a net, no exposed springs, stake it into the ground.

My parents bought my kids one a few years ago. 
It has been the best purchase ever.
All our friends kids love it and it keeps everyone entertained. My kids use it year round. 
It has kept up so well too, we just had to buy a new net this year but that’s after years of hard use. I bet it will last us for a really long time.

No and they never will. I needed multiple knee surgeries before I was in my teens because of a trampoline. Now I need a knee replacement and I'm only in my 40s.

Nope. My nephew got a compression fracture to his leg from a trampoline at 6. We won’t get one until they are much older, if we get one at all. My 4 year old jumped off our couch and broke her arm on Memorial Day weekend. Their bones are too flexible and soft to take the pressure of jumping like that when they are young.

We just have a small one with a handle in our basement. I would never get an outdoor one because it will inevitably end up in someone else’s yard during a storm. Plus, they just scare me.

I had one as a kid and loved it, I’d sleep on it in the summer, spend hours on it, put the sprinkler under it. Since your kiddo is 6, I’d recommend a net, maybe spring covers but that’s up to yoh

Yesss, I dreamed of one as a kid but we never had the space in the garden to have one, I alwayssssss used my friends trampoline and absolutely loved it into my teen years, and my school had trampolining lessons and it was the best. Definitely worth it in my opinion, fun and good exercise
