Should I be concerned??

My 3 year old touched my private parts & giggled. He’s been visiting at his babas every now & then. That’s the only place he’s been visiting & overnighting. 
How do I question him if his baba or anyone has been touching him & tell him it’s not okay? Can he still learn it’s not okay?
I feel really heartbroken if he has been touched. I’ve been molested as a young girl… not as young as him but I don’t want him to go through that like I did. 😔

Kids are extremely curious. I would just let him know that private parts are not to be touched. And if anyone touches his, he should tell mommy or daddy. I had the conversation with my son because I was sexually abused as a child as well.

I mean 3 year olds are curious, and dont know what things are yet. Ied just tell him we dont touch there and redirect his attention elsewhere

It would be leading him to ask if a specific person has touched him. I'd go with what someone else said and to have the discussion that private parts are private and about consent and what's inappropriate touching and what isn't. And to let you know if someone else touches his private parts. I had this discussion in kindergarten. Believe me, kids understand this stuff more than we think. It's all about age appropriate wording.

Who is his baba? 🤷🏻‍♀️ presumably it’s someone u trust as u let ur child stay overnight. Seems a big leap to immediately think they’ve touched him. Kids r curious about bodies.

My 3 YO has done this her whole life. At 3 years old they do that still. The only thing I would be concerned about is if he was to tell you. Don’t ask him anything or accuse anyone of anything unless he really has any signs, that you can prove. Don’t try to get words out of him. Most young kids do that

This book is helpful to guide parents on having the conversation with young kids. The biggest protective things you can do are to teach your child anatomically correct names for body parts early and give them as much bodily autonomy as possible—they are in charge of their own bodies and can say NO to anyone if they don’t want a hug or a kiss or tickles or whatever (aside from safety like changing a diaper or holding hands to cross the street, etc.). Keep the conversation going.

This doesn’t raise any red flags for me. It sounds pretty normal for a 3yo. Just start the conversations about it that no one else should touch him there
