My husband (who is my birth partner) has received an offer of some work for our company come up on the day I turn 39 weeks. It’s just for the one day, but he’d be travelling 2.5 hours out of town/away from our house and hospital for it. It’s baby number 2 for us, and our first was late by almost 2 weeks. Would you be happy risking your partner being this distance away the week before your due date in case of labour starting etc? I can’t work out if it’s too far away to take the risk…🤔
